Advice on unemployment in the UK?

Sorry, Stephen, this is a miserable situation and I too have read something about it being manipulated and engineered. What other country would allow foreigners to come flooding in and grab such jobs as are available while locals remain in the dole queue? A year and a half is far too long to be unemployed.
