I got clamped in a private car park and picked the lock.... can they do anything?

they clamped me in a private carpark so i picked the lock, took the clamp off without damaging it, and called the clamp company, they said next time they see me they will tow me away. can they do this? is this legal? i cant b done for criminal damage or theft so wat can they do me for?
